DevOps Engineer
Design, automate, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure for scalable, highly available applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Linux System Administration.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-native infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or similar).
- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience troubleshooting distributed systems and production incidents.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience managing highly available production infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes ecosystem tools such as Helm, ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, or FluxCD.
- Experience implementing GitOps workflows.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability platforms including Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK Stack, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry.
- Experience designing Zero Trust infrastructure and secure remote access solutions.
- Knowledge of networking technologies including VPNs, WireGuard, Tailscale, Headscale, DNS, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and Reverse Proxies.
- Experience managing PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or other production databases.
- Experience working with container security and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Experience integrating AI-assisted operations, automation, or infrastructure agents into DevOps workflows.
- Experience supporting enterprise environments with hundreds or thousands of servers.

Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure.
- Build and improve CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code.
- Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.
- Improve infrastructure reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability across production systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize application deployment workflows.
- Maintain Linux servers and troubleshoot production environments.
- Manage cloud networking, DNS, load balancers, SSL certificates, and firewalls.
- Implement security best practices for infrastructure, secrets management, and access control.
- Automate operational tasks using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Go.
- Investigate production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Improve disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity planning.
- Optimize cloud resource utilization and infrastructure costs.
- Document infrastructure architecture, deployment processes, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate and integrate emerging DevOps technologies and automation platforms.
